Welcome to EFMI STC 2009 & TurkMIA Medical Informatics '09

The EFMI (European Federation for Medical Informatics - www.efmi.org ) Special Topic Conference (STC) 2009 and TurkMIA Medical Informatics '09 Conference will take place in Antalya, Turkey on 12-15 November 2009.

The main theme is "Travel Health Informatics & Telehealth".

Welcome Letter

In today's globalized world, it is usual for the people to be mobile. Naturally, people may face health problems and disease risks in their travels. On the other hand, the technologies which assist telemonitoring from home provide tools for modern society for improving quality of life and reduce costs. We feel the need to promote, design and disseminate the systems that will assist healthcare in present technology age.

This year, EFMI STC 2009 will be held together with TurkMIA Medical Informatics '09. TurkMIA meeting will additionally cover some hot topics for Turkey and other countries in transition.

Our wish is to see all health professionals interested in health informatics together in our meeting. We will be happy to see you with us.
