We chose “New Technologies and Mobility in Health Care” as the main theme of the congress which is going to be held this year. The discipline of Health Informatics which has been experiencing developmental pains; is also going through a revolution as a result of the improvements in mobile technologies, the decrease in the size of devices, the decline in prices, the widespread use of mobile phones, and the development of integrated devices which can function as mobile phones. We aim to focus the attention of Medical Informatics community towards these developments and to create a knowledge sharing and collaboration environment.
The congress covers the use wireless technologies, Tablet PCs, PDAs, mobile phones in healthcare, communication with physicians outside hospital, and with ambulances, remote monitoring and wearable technologies for;

• Improving patients health
• Fast and easy access to health services
• Creating conditions for all actors and stakeholders in healthcare providing a high quality, effective and efficient service

In addition, current developments in health information systems, electronic health records, tele-medicine, health information standards, management of health organizations, and payment and control systems in health services will also be discussed throughout the congress.

We invite all organisations and individuals who choose to work in the field of healthcare, who aim to improve the overall quality of life, and want to contribute to the vision of raising healthier generations, to this meeting.
