Invitation
In the Medical Informatics Association, our vision is to spread the medical informatics concept to the country, with our perspective to inform and educate the society gains strentgh every year. Our main philosophy towards health is putting person first and to create a difference about the undeniable right to a healthy life, and we are in a struggle to create an information society for our people.
Our health organisation, other public and private health service organisations are aware that, it is imperative that they must use information systems to be able to improve the quality of service they provide, and reach levels of productivity at the contemporary levels. Compared with other sectors, the meeting of information technologies with health has been relatively late, and as a result of the complex and comprehensive nature of the health sector, work in this field is still insufficient. We have to use our resources in a most effective manner. Re-entering data and reproducing information produced in one unit over and over again cause waste of time, resources and delay in services, as well as reducing quality.
We have to consider the basic principle how to reach health knowledge existing in a health system in the right time and by the right people. This is the principle of Interoperability. This approach is the main philosophy of a contemporary health system. In this activity we are going to evaluate the developments in our country and in the world centering around our main theme Interoperability.
Last year, our Association successfully organised the 2nd Medical Informatics Conference with the contributions of primarily the Ministry of Health, all public and private organisations work in the health sector, and all other participants. This year we invite all who work and think for a better health system, to the Medical Informatics 06 "For a better quality of life and healthy generations"
